Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (OMT) is a specialized field of physiotherapy that focuses on assessing a person’s physical function, examining and treating nerve, muscle, and joint structures, and preventing functional impairments.

OMT is based on thorough assessment and clinical reasoning. Treatment methods include manual techniques and therapeutic exercises. With proper guidance and self-directed training, the aim is to treat and prevent musculoskeletal problems.
