Podiatric Foot Care

Podiatric Foot Care

Foot care is an essential part of a podiatrist’s work.
Various skin and nail conditions—such as calluses, cracked heels, corns, warts, ingrown toenails, and thickened nails—are treated during the appointment. The treatment concludes with moisturizing and a relaxing foot massage.

You will also receive personalized home care instructions and recommendations for any necessary follow-up treatment.

A Bachelor-level podiatrist (BSc) represents the highest level of podiatry education in Finland. The degree is completed at a university of applied sciences and takes approximately 3.5 years. The professional title is legally protected, meaning it can only be used by individuals who have successfully completed the official training.

Podiatrists are registered healthcare professionals, and their practice is regulated and supervised by the Regional State Administrative Agency (AVI) and Valvira.
